Delphine Vaute

Delphine Vaute lives and works in Nantes.
After a diploma at the Beaux-Arts in Angers and a Masters in Art History, Delphine Vaute returned to her first love, drawing. Children's books, illustrations for independent comics, ceramics, engraving, Delphine Vaute explores line work on these different media.
The first approach to his work is above all a singular and timeless universe, sometimes even a certain surrealism.
Timeless because it uses old visuals whether they are at the center of its subject or just used as a vector of ideas and meaning.
