Julie Brouant is an illustrator and ceramist. These two practices, which have become complementary, influence each other to create an ornamental, colorful universe, where animals and nature have an important place. Her illustrations are inspired by popular art, mythology, or even naive art. She is the author of several children's books, notably at Actes Sud and l'Agrume éditions. Her favorite techniques are gouache and watercolor, as well as screen printing.
